The FEW-17 is the solution to a problem with most current production forced entry wedges. Whereas most current wedges are manufactured from soft 300 or 400 series aluminum billet, the FEW-17 is CNC manufactured from 17-4 Stainless steel. Stronger, sharper, and able to take a world of beating, the FEW-17 will not deform like an aluminum wedge, will maintain a sharp cutting edge for a long time, and rip through most residential and light commercial door frame fasteners.

Use along as a pounding wedge, the FEW-17 has a ring cut around the hammer face to absorb any deformation that may occur from indirect hammer blows to keep it from spreading into the body of the wedge. Or, the FEW-17 can be used in conjunction with your Halligan tool, or any size appropriate pry bar. Cut door hinges and thresholds, or simply pry them from their frames with ease.
